Welcome Loon Lake is a community of 390 residents located between beautiful lakes, farmland and the lush boreal forest in Northwest Saskatchewan. It is adjacent to the Makwa Lake Provincial Park, Steele Narrows Provincial Park and the Bronson Forest Recreation Site.Located only 2 miles from the popular Makwa Provincial Park with its 300 campsites and a challenging 9 hole golf course (one of the best in the Northwest). This is cabin country - there are currently over 400 cabins on Makwa and Jumbo Lake. You'll know you're here when you first hear the haunting and beautiful cry of the loon on a still night.this is a peaceful place to spend your time.
