What people & the public need to be aware of & understand clearly is that when new members join Muskwa, they are not just recieving a ''membership pass'' or a ''status card'' which defines them as aboriginal or ''Metis,'' or a card which entitles them to the benifits of which an aboriginal community can give them threw one form or another. In actuality besides the fact they recieve a card they are - aknowledged as part of our family unit, which carries the greatest of value & rewards, along with responsabuility and obligations, - because they are part of our family unit and that is something we take seriously, and we cherrish this.
