Arts For Life Psychotherapy, is the private practice of Laurie Bowen, who holds a Masters Degree from Wayne State University, in Social Work and is a Social Worker in good standing with the College and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Laurie also holds an honours B.A. in Drama In Education as well as a teaching degree in Dramatic Arts and is a Certified Addiction Counsellor. Arts For Life provides traditional psychotherapy or talk therapy for all ages and issues with the added appeal of utilizing art, music, dramatic art, writing and dancing within the therapy session. Equine therapy is our newest addition to our mental health tool kit! A horse will mirror your emotions and mood, helping the person to overcome negative emotions. Covered through extended health and claimable as a medical expense with Revenue Canada.
