Hearst & Area Economic Development Corporation

The Hearst and Area Economic Development Corporation was incorporated in 1982. Its mission is to pro-actively foster an environment attractive to community and private sector growth and development strategy the Town of Hearst has established the following goals and objectives that support it's business development and attraction efforts:support economic competitiveness/establish Hearst as a leader in forestry value added manufacturing/establish Hearst as a year-round tourist destination/ensure adequate infrastructure is available to support growth and development/increase the participation of the First Nation's community in all aspects of the economy and its various sectors.
