Thousand Island Marine Construction Ltd

The owner of TIM (John Bishop) father, Les Bishop, built numerous private docks, boathouses, seawalls and cottages around Gananoque and the Thousand Islands during the late 1940's to late 1960's. Les Bishop also built numerous government wharves for the Federal Government. John Bishop founded Bishop Marine Construction in 1968 and Thousand Island Marine Construction Ltd. in 1972. Both companies operate today. Andrew Bishop, a son of John Bishop, represents the third generation of Bishop's in the Marine field. Some of the Key Employees to our business have worked here on a continuous basis for over 25 years.
