Family & Children's Services of Renfrew County

Cases which meet the mandate of the Agency after an intake assessment are transferred to the ongoing child protection teams. There are three teams, one team is located in the Pembroke office, a second team is supervised out of the Renfrew office with workers also working out of locations in Arnprior and Golden Lake. The third team consists of workers located in eight different schools across Renfrew County. In the case of these workers they have a mixed caseload of child protection files and non child protection files which address the needs of the individual school. This program is operated in cooperation with the Renfrew County Roman Catholic Separate School Board. Besides the ongoing child protection teams, two children services teams exist, one in Pembroke the other in Renfrew. The workers on these teams are responsible for the children in the care of the Agency.
