Watershed Pokemouche River is located in the northeastern New Brunswick within the region known as the Acadian Peninsula. The area covered by the GGERP includes land that drain into the Pokemouche River and its tributaries. The area is in the range of approximately ENTERED field the following boundaries: on the north by Little Paquetville, south by Bois-Gagnon, on the west by Butte-d'Or and east by Inkerman. The majority of soft water west of the watershed is located on Crown land, while the lower stream of the Pokemouche River near the estuary, are bordered by private land. Watershed Pokemouche River covers about 44,316 hectares (110,346 acres), of which most of the territory, 75% or 34,915 hectares (86,938 acres owned by small private owners. Crown lands represent 25 %, or 8,671 hectares (21,591 acres). basin drains the village communities Paquetville, Petit-Paquetville Rang St-George, of Duguayville of Hacheyville, Val-Doucet of St. Rose of Maltempec, Evangeline, Pokemouche, Six Roads and Inkerman.
