Our current rules were adopted in 1987 and are outdated and need updating:1. The current rules (called the 'Rules Respecting Membership in the Clayoquot Band of Indians and Enacted in Accordance with Section 10 of the Indian Act')2. The proposed amended rules (called the Citizenship Code)3. A one page summary of the changesTAKE NOTICE that a ratification vote will be held by secret ballot on May 8, 2014 to determine if a majority of the Electors of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation are in favor of and agree to approve the Amendments to the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation Membership Rules. If you cannot vote in person at Tin Wis, you can request a mail out ballot be sent to your home.Please me asap to update your address if you want to receive a mail in ballot package.
