JACO Powerlines is fully equipped and staffed for any and all distribution and transmission work (60kv, 120kv, 138kv and 240kv). We are experienced in design, maintenance, repair, and construction for all wood polelines, including hot stick work. Our specialty is off road powerline construction and repairs. Underground is also done by JACO. JACO Powerlines Ltd was established in 1980 as an "unrestricted" Class "A" licensed high voltage contracting company, registered in British Columbia, Canada. We carry complete liability insurance and are fully bondable. JACO has been affiliated with I B E W Local 258 since the company started. In that time JACO has had no lost time accidents. We pride ourselves in having competent qualified employees in all aspects of our work. JACO's primary customer for the past twenty-one years has been SC Hyaro, covering areas from Prince Rupert, Fort St. John, Fernie, and Powell River, to Vancouver Island, our home base.
