These rules were set out to protect the shooters as well as the members that use our facility and all it offers.SAFETY is our number one priority when it comes to the use of our facility, whether you are shooting firearms or archery. If rules are not followed and SAFETY is neglected, then it might be a very sad day for all our members when we have to shut down the range. There are very few shooting ranges left in Alberta and they seem to be disappearing quickly due to cost of maintenance and the inability of persons to use them SAFELY. Rules have to be followed so we can continue to have the opportunity to enjoy our firearms and the sport of shooting. Most of us at one time or another have taken the Firearms Safety Course, not to be more proficient at shooting, but to know how to be SAFE when operating firearms or in the presence of them.
